Runs the venue: sets up halls, rooms and rates, manages Mohallas and users, watches collections, blocks Miqaat dates and approves cancellations.
What the system does
One calendar for every hall and room. Each Sector / Mohalla books for its own households; the Admin team sets up venues, rates and Miqaat dates, and has the final word on cancellations.
- Book venues by date and slot
- Halls book by morning, evening or full day; rooms book per day. A single booking can cover several halls and rooms across multiple days. If any one is taken, the booking is not created.
- Households and head of family
- Each booking is made for a household, identified by its HOF ID and WhatsApp number. Mohallas add households one by one or upload them from a spreadsheet.
- Payment with WhatsApp confirmation
- Creating a booking holds the venue for 10 minutes and sends a Razorpay payment link on WhatsApp. Once paid, the booking is confirmed automatically and a PDF receipt follows on WhatsApp.
- Cancellations approved by Admin
- A Mohalla requests a cancellation with a reason. The venue stays booked until Admin approves or rejects it; refunds are paid by the trust and recorded against the request.
- Miqaat details
- Admin enters the year's Miqaat dates, singly or by upload. Reserved venues show as unavailable on every Mohalla's calendar, and clashes with existing bookings are flagged.
- Users, Sectors and Mohallas
- There is no self sign-up. Admin creates the 13 Sectors / Mohallas and their users, and can switch accounts on or off.
- Expenses Future phase
- Recording venue expenses and reporting income against expenses per hall is planned for a later phase and is shown for discussion only.

Books on behalf of households in their Mohalla, sends payment links, keeps the household list up to date and requests cancellations.
